Spriting

So I'm pretty new here, but I've been lurking a while and I was wondering what you guys use to draw sprites? Not programs, but physical tools, like a drawing tablet or something? Or do you just use a mouse?

RE: Spriting

I use a mouse, I find that tablets are a little too imprecise for tiny sprites.

RE: Spriting

For spriting I use a mouse. I use my tablet for drawing simple designs to give me ideas on what to sprite, or what my sprites would look like from different angles.

RE: Spriting

I just use a mouse. Don't see a need to use my tablet since I'm working at such a small scale.

RE: Spriting

Usually I let my cat go after the mouse (Hue! Get it?!) while I tie down the left mouse button with a brick and see what happens.

RE: Spriting

I use a touchpad, as all the mice in my house went extinct long ago. Gets me where I am going, just about.

You need a brick to hold down your left mouse button? Man your index finger must be ripped to pump out that much psi.

Because a brick that is improperly balanced on a tiny mouse with a frail bit of string has tonnes of PSi acting on the button

Because tying a brick to the mouse button with some string is even an appropriate method for autonomous mouse clicking.

RE: Spriting

Are we talking about bricks tied to the left mouse button just to make it work or something?
