Covenant of Flame (dead) - Fire is the key to our salvation

Back Story
The Covenant of Flame is a cult of religious fanatics ( :worship: ) setup by a species called the V'sood!
They worship a flame god called Kanrath and spread the religion by preaching or by force.

Their home planet Raithe, much like Earth, was destroyed in an apocalyptic mass eruption of all the volcanoes, caused by a massive earthquake. The planet burnt and fell. the planet became uninhabitable and selected scientists, priests and soldiers left with their families on a massive Home Ship - Wrath of Kanrath (WoK). They cursed their flame god Kanrath for letting their planet burn and for years banished worshipers of Kanrath. priests stayed but worshiped the plant god, Richimes, for allowing them to grow his plants on their spaceship. for 2 years they traveled until a group of fanatics had built within the depths of the WoK. They charged through the city burning the shrines of Richimes and killing the priests who dare not worship their planet's god. They usurped the government and made it a heavily religious government, banning all over worshiping of gods.
After 3 years of a religious rule, they landed on a new planet, Lueste. They setup colonies, shrines to their god, Kanrath, and made more ships, a fleet and went out to find planets which require converting.

All soldiers vow to never surrender in battle, and if captured never give away any secret no matter what torture they go through. and every V'sood vows never to show their face to anyone but family and loved ones at the age of 10. the reason for this is unknown but has been passed down through generations by the V'sood.

Sprite Sheet

UNITS
V'sood Trooper - Small and nimble, armed with a flamethrower. loves to get in close and toast the enemy.
V'Sood Alpha - Tougher, larger version of the Trooper, carries a machine gun with incendiary ammo, not enough to set an enemy on fire, but leaves major burns on the enemy's armour and skin, weakening it. Act as scout commanders.
V'sood Infiltrator - Carries a Heavy Caliber Armor Piercing Sniper Rifle (HCAP S-Rifle), fast and agile. has a personal camouflage
V'sood Support Trooper - Radio pack, plasma shotgun and interfaced helmet (for scanning computers, robotics and machines). the perfect unit for supporting the team. Generally put at the back to keep the radio safe and to defend the flank with the shotgun.
V'sood Chief - Recognizable by its larger helmet. Carries a Plasma Rifle for burning through walls and armor.
V'sood Brute - Huge armored killing machine. a V'sood Alpha who has proven himself in battle may wear this heavy battle suit. Carries a Plasma Cannon for blasting enemies back, using the force of the blast to smash windows, wreck walls and break limbs. Not Fatal unless directly hit. Inaccuracy means that is rare. Can drop from the sky.
Priest of Kanrath - Recognisable by their large hats and red cloaks, these religious disciples are sent on diplomacy and converting missions. They claim to be unarmed, to improve relations, but that is disbelieved.

Only need to call units "V'sood (class)" if the class name is in use by the enemy.

Vehicular Units
Salamander - Fast moving, unarmed, transport with moderate armor. can carry a 8 slots. Troopers and Infiltrators take 1 slot. Alphas and Chiefs take 2. Brute takes 3. Scout squads usually consist of 5 Troopers, 1 infiltrator and 1 Alpha transported by a Salamander.
Floater - Speedy air assault unit. Weapon has 2 modes which it can switch between. the flamethrower has a large amount of ammo and can fire at a medium range, great for open air battles. but when needed it can switch to plasma to blast open a wall or roof so that their allies can get in or they can flame into the opening. the plasma cannon can only be used once during a battle before reloading.
Chimera - Flying, armed, heavy transported. Can fly a bit higher then the floater and can drop troops down. armed with a Plasma Beam and a Machine Gun. Plasma beam can fire 1 long accurate beam of plasma which burns small but deep holes in wall, armour and skin. only enough ammo capacity for 1 shot.
Drone Fighter - Very fast unmanned fighter craft, with the ability to hover. 2 types, distinguished by weapon and colour. The basic drone is equipped with a Plasma Machine Gun, an enlarged, rapid fire, version of the Chief's weapon. And the Plasma Drone is brought in for heavy hitting, and is armed with the Heavy's Plasma Cannon.
Dragon Heavy Transport - Can carry a strong strike force to battle. Can be loaded before battle to drop bombs from the hatch instead of troops. Has a large  Experimental Plasma Bolt Cannon, which fires a large shell of metal charged with energy. Large drum "clip" for firing multiple shots. this unit is brought in as an emergency reinforcements, if it gets risky.

Talon Expeditionary Forces - Going where no man dares go.

Backstory - The Talon Expeditionary Force (The T.E.F) is a freelance mercenary army founded by Richov Merak. It is available to hire by any force in the world, at a hefty price, and the T.E.F will go where the army dare not send their own troops. The Mercenaries have a dislike of tanks because they are much too slow for their liking, as they prefer to get places fast, they prefer fast attack vehicles, generally with wheels or rotors.

Sprite Sheet

Comes with alternate helmets for each mode and masks for easy character changing (for unique looks) and weapons.

Units
Expedition Trooper - Basic Trooper armed with the SABR-3 (Semi Automatic Battle Rifle MK3). Nicknamed the Sabre for obvious reasons, it fires only 1 bullet when you fire it but it can be fired repeatedly. The Inbuilt Scope allows for use as a medium/long range sniper.
Heavy Expeditionary - Carries one of 2 weapons. Normally come in pairs so they can work together. The APRL (Armour Piercing Rocket Launcher) or April, by the soldiers fires a armour piercing rocket which drills into armour and blow up once inside. The HAPR (Heavy Armour Piercing Rifle) fires small but tough bullets, which put large dents into armour, weakening it for the main troops.
Expedition Engineer - Carries a Silenced CSMG (Covert Sub Machine Gun) and can deploy the RDAT (Rapid Deployment Auto Turret) armed with a heavy machine gun
Expeditionary Operator - The frontline officers. Very unique uniform to the rest, wearing an armoured trench coat and carrying the LAP (Light Assault Pistol) which fires a burst of 3 bullets everytime the trigger is pulled. surprising accuracy and next to no recoil. These operator just command the troops and boost the morale. Wears a filter mask to guard his face.

Visor modes
Night Vision - No hiding!
Health Scanner - Highlights damaged areas and weaknesses of organics.
Electrical Scanner - Highlights electronics, telling you if it is damaged or weakened. Works on any electrical machines.

Vehicle Units
Kite - Light weight "scout" helicopter, armed with rotating machine gun and gatling gun.
Buzzard - Transport copter armed with rotating machine gun.
Heavy Buzzard - Vehicle lifter copter. Armed with rotating machine gun
Armadillo - 10 wheel APC armed with a Rotatable Heavy Machine Gun with laser sight.
Heavy Armadillo Armed with a Cannon which fires anti-armour shells. Laser sight for extra aim.
RDAT Auto Turret with laser sight and gatling gun.

Fleet
Proteus - Battleship with 4 heavy cannons, 2 twin heavy cannons. Heavy armour.
Hydra - Armed with depth charges, 2 flak guns and 2 light cannons. Perfect escort unit.
Makara - Armour piercing missile ship. Anti-air and ship-to-ship missiles. Armed with 1 light cannon.
Kraken - Anti-armour torpedoes and sonar. perfect scout/assault sub. Heavy armour.
Siren - Small and fast scout ship. 1 ship-to-ship cannon and radar. Hard to hit but doesn't pack much punch.
Barracuda - Medium assault ship. Generally put as escorts for aircraft carriers, can fight off small craft and do light damage to heavier ships. 2 light cannons and depth charges.
Leviathan - Aircraft Carrier, king of a fleet. Armed with depth charges, 3 flak cannons and 1 all purpose missile rack. can carry 12 Kestrel fighter-bombers, 8 Sparrow light assault copters, 6 Albatross Assault VTOL and 1 Condor heavy bomber. Heavily armoured.
Fleet Aircraft
Kestrel Fighter-Bomber - Light and nimble, perfect all round fighter. Armed with Air-to-Air missiles, air-to-ground missiles, 2 wing mounted mini-guns, remote control missiles, a bomb rack and air radar.
Albatross VTOL Strike Craft - Armed with 2 rotating miniguns, remote control missiles, air-to-ground missiles and heavy armour.
Sparrow Light Assault Copter - Armed with 1 rotating minigun and air-to-ground missiles.
Condor - Heavy bomber, carries a payload of either High Explosive bombs, napalm, a single fuel airbomb or 2 tactical nukes. Has tail mounted minigun, remote control from gunner seat.

The Veil of Penumbra -Light betrays you.

Back Story - A living nebula in the milky way containing shadows, darkness and fear in the form of creatures. The Veil of Penumbra travels through space in "clouds" of darkness. It lives off the life force of living things, adapted to fight man made objects and can switch off man made lights. Their weakness is direct intense lights, sunlight in space is spread out and less intense, allowing them to travel but when on planets, the sun is magnified and it damages them. The Veil travels at night and underground to stay away from the sun. When the darkness gets "inside" an organic, the darkness clouds their vision, slowly paralyzing them, switching off their brain and causing them to become a brain dead lump of flesh. Because of the Veil's weakness to darkness it can be beated by intense lights. Lasers, Torches, Flashlights and even close range muzzle flash works. (This army is for every theme. Fantasy, Modern, Future)

Sprite Sheet

They are see-through but it seems to be hard to see here. The army is supposed to be small otherwise it would be overpowered.

Units
Gloomer - Tall and medium speed Shadow. Spreads the darkness, possesses lights to switch them off.
Haze - Small and fast. Possesses objects to move them around. (Be careful of those robots and machine gun emplacements)
Shade - Tall and Slow. Rips the enemy apart with it's claw like appendages.
Eclipse - Fast moving air unit. Gets in through the holes of air units and rips it apart from inside out! Keep it at a distance from your air units.
Murker - Fat and slow, it spawns 5 Dusks before dying out.
Dusk - Fast and small, gets up the trouser legs of your soldiers and eats them.

This is what is classified as a Parasite army. Your soldiers will need to survive to beat them.

Brood Swarms - Feed...

Backstory - No one knows the origin of the Brood Swarms, but they grow like fungus, spreading in the earth with no need for breeding.

Units -
Brooder - Explodes into acid and spawns Brood Fungi which grows into other units. Don't shoot the bag!
Chomper - Runs at you and does what the name suggests.
Burster - Bursts into 6 runners and Brood Fungi. can't fight.
Runners - runs up to you and eats you. tiny burst of acid when killed.
Spitter - flying beast, shoots acidic spit out of it's mouth.

I'd recommend getting rid of the outlines on Alpha, Chief, and Brute heads. That should give the sprites a more consistent feel, since you're not using outlines on the other ones.

Are those landing struts yours? They look different to the rest of the sprite.
Also the feet of them appear to point down, it would cause damage to any landing pad and cause the dropship to sink in soft landing zones.

On the landing struts there is aliasing, making them blurry.

On the right is a quickly cleaned up version with the anti aliasing removed, I just replaced the blurryness with either the white background or the grey. You should probably take more time than me when you do it. If you rotated them you need to clean up afterwards. Some tools will cause the blurriness when rotating, on GIMP you change interpolation from cubic to none in the rotation options. Not sure how to do it on other programs.

anti aliasing is ok on the inside of sprites but near the edges it makes it hard to edit during a match.

rotSprite is a good program for rotating big things but doesn't come with a preview function. for smaller sprites you should just rotate them and clean them up a bit after.

fixed landing gears and added Support Troopers.
if anyone has any ideas for what units i'm missing, i feel done with ground fighting units.

It seems the entire body of your dropship is suffering from anti aliasing in some areas, did you save it as a .jpg or .bmp at any point?

I heavily suggest you use a new thing to upload with, if you use that in a match everyone will find their sprites blurred. I think the forum one is still active.

What program do you use to sprite? Most programs have an anti-aliased brush-type tool as well as a hard-edged one. From the looks of your Dragon sprite it appears as though you are using both. In the future you should only use the hard-edged one (the one without automatic anti-aliasing) as an anti-aliased brush will give you blurry sprites. In PW we tend not to use anti-aliasing at all because we need to move our sprites around and an anti-aliased sprite would need to be adjusted to each background color. If you're going to use anti-aliasing (which is probably not a good idea unless you know what you are doing) you would need to apply it by hand using single pixels and you should only use it on effects, which only last a single turn, and on the interior of sprites, where they wouldn't be affected by the bg color.
For your other sprites I would recommend using a higher contrast. The shading that you have is minimal but it's also in a color very similar to your base color, making it very hard to see and hard to tell that it's even there at all. You should make the shading dark enough that it is easily visible at 100% zoom.
For your infiltrator's cloak it looks as though you've used a transparency effect. You probably shouldn't do that as you'll have to adjust it to each background again and having an entirely new palette of washed-out colors solely for your infiltrator's cloak is probably too much to handle.
Your wheels on the Salamander look a bit diagonal, I suggest you look up a tutorial on how to draw pixel art circles. It's hard!

my problem was i got lazy and used a line tool instead of drawing the outlines of the Dragon.

If you had actually either stated that you had used mine as a base or at least admitted to copying when you were first called out, I would have been fine, but then you had to go and deny it.
Upon further review, it seems that all of your ships are just modified versions of mine, except the Siren, which is just a blatant re-color. Please try to make your own units next time instead of copying off of someone else's work.

I look back at my previous work sometimes and have noticed my writing skills were better when my spriting skills were worse.
I put much more effort into the Covenant of Flame story then anything else.
