Coco's ?

nvm, scrolled through the army section and found them.
Not really, the only thing in common is the shape from what i can tell, and even then it's a small similarity.
I made them circular for the sake of simplicity.

Re: Followers of the Divine

Some of the differences between units are too hard to make out without zooming. In particular it's very hard to see a difference between the Veteran and vanilla medic.

That's not all of what I have partialy done.
Plus it's not close to done, it's just in a functioning state.

I also didn't have a lot of time to write it all out, but the concept isn't as bad as you probably think.

Not everything has to be a super complex piece of art worthy of being hung in only the fanciest of French galleries.

No, but that's no excuse to be azy and make an army of circles.

Re: Followers of the Divine

Well you guys are obviously not friendly to new people. Great attitudes.
I'll delete the topic and draw an entire new army, 5 days of work out the window. yes I spent 7 days, adjusting pixels, changing colors, editing the vehicles, concept work, drawing it out on paper, being sidetracked with my other work, drawing a lot of potential units that I scraped. I was drawing before I even joined this site.

Re: Followers of the Divine (hopefully deleted soon)

We're not all like this. You cannot possibly judge a forum based on 3 people. I personally think they're OK but I reckon the problem you'd have is that everyone would just see them as "Those things that look like Cocos" after all, the Cocos have been around for 3-4 years and no one has ever taken well to armies that look similar (some people get angry while I remain indifferent) It also means that unfortunately people are going to be much more picky about how they look.

Your idea is fine, and honestly you probably only need to change the infantry - deleting the army is just excessive and makes you look a bit whiny and immature.

Re: Followers of the Divine (hopefully deleted soon)

Well I'm not deleting it, I'll probably just fix it up and when I quit getting flak about it I could re-release it.
Until then I have another idea, or will probably use the same concept with different sized and shaped units. Thanks for being the one person who isn't a complete dick.

Re: Followers of the Divine (hopefully deleted soon)

I haven't seen the army, but I have to say I'm tired of seeing an army with circles in it and then seeing people yell about how anything remotely round is copying the Cocos.

if you didn't see it then you can't really comment, it was pretty close to cocos.
and the op is likely to be a guy who ragequit freeforums (dinoboy) so it's not like he hadn't seen them before

I never had an avatar on here yet, and no, I'm not them, if you are so inclined you could probably compare the IP's and you'll notice I am not them. Either way, I can see most of you show great dislike for new members, mainly the ones who don't draw on the computer at all and never have up until this point in time, obviously asking you to be patient with my new found lack of pixel talent is too much to ask.

Re: Followers of the Divine (hopefully deleted soon)

You know what, I'm gonna lock this.

From what I can see this person is not Dinoboy and should stop being treated as such.

/thread. Have fun kids, but don't stay out too late!
