Fatsam's armys. [WIP] Plant Bots.

Heres my newest army:
The Plant Bots

Spoiler: Robots/Troops
All troops can hover above the ground, as they have no legs, but most cannot fly.

The Basic Soilder armed with a sub-machine gun.

A heavy soilder armed with a laser gun. These soilders
evolved from their smg-wielding cousins.

An unarmed soilder. Although he cant fight, he can grow soilders.

A worker drone made to build bases and work.
These drones can fly unlike the other robots.

This is all I have done right now, but I have much planned for the future.

Spoiler: Backstory for Plantbots
They came from a failed science experiment which was aimed to create farming robots
however the experiment ended horribly.

The plantbots decieded to rebel agaisnt working for the humans and sucseeded.
They escaped from the lab and scattered across the lands.
They have developed themselves stronger and they have created new versions
which are armed with different weapons.
They are usally freindly however if someone or something works agaisnt their
ways of nature, they can be deadly.

Basic Soilder:

Normal soilder, he fights (of corse) and can use any weapon (execpt Snipers, only Sniper troops can use them).

Sniper:

He uses his sniper to kill/BOOM HEADSHOT people from a distence. He can only use snipers and pistols.

Medic:

He help wounded soilders with his trusty medkit, the only weapon he can use is a pistol.

This army has been abandoud so dont expect me to add to it.
The guys dressed in Nothing are workers and work for the King and Queen Imps (Not been made)
The guys dressed in Armour are warriors and fight for the king and queen.
The guys dressed in Red are raptor handlers and look after the raptors.
The Green dinosaur looking things at the bottem are raptors and fight for the king and queen and also help the workers by carrying heavy stuff. (The workers arnt slaves)
The guys dressed in White are Chefs and cook things in his cauldren (see right of chefs, lawl epic carrot)
The big guy with the Crown is the King, he makes imps and rules over the empire

You have 8 or 9 different sprites for each troop type which are exactly the same and just flipped horizontally with a symbol over their head. You could save yourself a lot of space on your army sheet by just posting 1 sprite for each troop and flipping them or adding symbols when you need them. It wouldn't take much time to add an exclamation point when it's needed during a match.

As for the design of the characters themselves, I like them, but I'm wondering what their beak/trunk/nose things are? Right now they kinda look like they've got a bazooka on their face or something, lol.

You could use references in drawing your sprites. It's as easy as image googling "rabbit ears".
Unless you don't want to, in which case I'll spoon-feed you knowlege.
Take for instance this little rabbit.

First of all, your ears could be any size or shape you want.
They still have to be shaped like ears or else the could look like

I would suggest changing the way they are facing from sideways to 3/4s before you draw anymore.

The whole problem is that they don't look very good at all, especially when all there is to separate the ears from each other is a thin outline. Right now it simply looks like the ears are stuck together, which by coincidence happen to look like a bazooka or some sort of dual barrel flak cannon.

I mind as well go on and point out major things now that I am in here:
To start with, there's practically no shading besides the above mentioned outline, nor is there any details anywhere they're currently just grey flat shapes, same goes for the clothing.
There's also some perspective issues, in PW we normally use 3/4 perspective for non-vehicles, which means the sprite is almost facing us, being the lazy bastard I am, I'll use one of my own armies to illustrate my point:

What you got going is that the body is in 4/4 (Facing us) and the head is in 2/4 (Only showing us the side) which tends to look pretty weird.

Generally, you need to get better at shading and details, just because I like linking this tutorial, here's a tutorial on shading that does the trick: http://www.natomic.com/hosted/marks/mpat/shading.html
