A small squad of Italian soldiers guards a small outpost deep in the caverns. HQ reported that there have been sightings of alien creatures in this area. Two of the soldiers are chatting about the latest Italian news. Another thinks he hears laughing deeper in the cave, while another one stands guard at the entrance.

With a peculiar snapping noise, Commissar Gregor emerges from the Transportal, quite relieved that his assigned team have finally managed to set up a base - even if it is a month late. He decides that he will have a look around the base before sending back his first requisition order for troops.

Both Engineers are engaged in construction - One is extending the platform to create space for a lift, and the other is building a roof over the Transportal.

The Scout doesn't have another grapnel, but he is carrying a spare rope, so he ties it to a sturdy lump of rock and climbs down - it's not as far as he thought it would be, but oh well. It looks like there's another section of whatever old base used to be down here - perhaps there's something inside. He can certainly hear movement somewhere, but it's hard to tell in these big echoey caverns.

The squad decide to set up camp here, ShotGunGuy starts digging a hole to make a base in, SnipahGuy drags a barrel from the nearby pool and lights it on fire
CommanderGuy puts down the Teleporter and fianally gets a connection to the main base.

"CommanderGuy, Do you hear me?"

CommanderGuy: YES SIR!

"Alright, were sending some workers in, and I want you to start making a vehicle transporter."

Urrzat arrives back at camp informing Senotrock that he found nothing and begins to head the other way to see if there is anything over there. Meanwhile another Human is born, Sentrock is close to finishing construction of the wall, and Zeatrock builds a hut for the clan to live in.

Senotrock: Zea take this bag and plant these seeds simply put them into the ground, even in the stone they will grow.
Zeatrock: What do you calll these Seno?
Senotrock: Blood Nuts they grow anywhere with stable ground and when mature they look blood red surrounded by there shell we can eat them raw or use them to make bread another new discovery against the old ways.
Zeatrock: Okay, I hope these taste a little like Humans.

I might have to drop out of this one, I want to keep my brains exclusively for the match they are currently in . . I'll stay if people get annoyed about me joining and leaving, but if not, then I'll just have the brains "dry up" from the heat or something. You guys decide.

I am prone to fits of inactivity, sadly. If I suddeny stop posting, it is NOT because I have left the forum, but because my internet is taking a little hike. I will post back into our match when I can, and assuming you want to continue, we can try to finish up. Please just keep this in mind if you get into a match with me.

The Commissar makes it to the current top floor of this little base - pausing only to put up the regulation image of the Czar and admires the view.

The engineers continue constructing. What will they do next?
An MHA poster is put up for that homely feeling.

The Scout wanders in to the uncomfortably small structure - whoever made this was just far too small. He can dimly make out some crates - perhaps there's something of worth in there.

With a splash the imp impacts the, water his screams of pain and hatred for the collector continue far after the collector swoops down and lurches the imp upward from the water with a swift tug.

"BAAHAHAHAHAHAH! Wait... NOT funny."

The collector begins the process of maturing and the six breeding pods fill with younglings.

The scout decides that the boxes aren't really worth bothering with and sets off down the other end of the cavern.
