Altian Federation Navy
In a world covered in water, the three largest landmasses became super powers, warring against each other in high-seas naval battles, as well as even higher stake land operations. The three nations are the smallest but most advanced, The Versian Empire, the dark and sinister Democratic Republic of Neo Arlandia, and finally, the Atlian Federation.

The most powerful warships in the world are owned by Atlia, making up the powerful Atlian Navy. They deal with enemy fleets and softening land based targets.
Heavy Ships:
From left to right we have the Atlia Class Super Heavy Battleship, the Intrepid Class Fleet Carrier, and finally, the Dreadnought Class Battlecarrier.
Medium Ships:

From Left to Right, we have the Dauntlass Class Missile Cruiser, the Kestrel Class Carrier, and finally, the Hunter Class Destroyer.
Boats:

From left to right, we have the Victory class Submarine, the Beachhead Class Landing Ship, the Type-50 Torpedo Boat, and the Raider Inflatable Raft.

In the top row we have the Valiant Class VTOL Carrier, and the Overwatch Class VTOL Destroyer. On the bottom row, we have the Carryall and the Carryall AWACS, the Valkyrie Bomber, The Shrike Interceptor, the Workhorse Transport, The Sparrowhawk Gunship, the Firehawk VTOL Gunship, Lifter VTOL Transport, and the Hummingbird Assualt Transport/Scout Gunship.

Although many of  the brave Atlians are found in the fleet, some of the bravest of them are found in the Atlian Marines. They are the ones who land on the Enemy lands and march in the face of enemy machine gun fire.
Ground Units:

I havent seen ships like that in ages and wow I play that game too.
Since this thread is here, this is the spritesheet for my fleet, the Italian Navy (Marina Militare). Sprites still need to undergo refining.

Updated to include all of my new ships and aircraft.
Updated with my new Marines. Any suggestions are much appreciated!
Details on the tank's chassis and turret, such as entrenching tools, supplies strapped on, bolt on/reactive armor plates, hatches, and markings or serial numbers and the like would be very fine additions to any armored vehicle. If you want, you can edit the different tanks to have different markings, numbers, and slight battle-damage on them to make it easier to differentiate between them and give each one a special twist, or a story or character behind it.

Thanks, I'll try that.
Edit: Fixed names of helicopters and also put the Marines outside of the spoiler
going to update pretty much everything now that the images are down. Any ideas for new ships/units?
I'd suggest trying to make the actual shape of the ships more original. It's not easy for modern navies since the most obvious inspirations are real-world ships, but otherwise we get a whole bunch of modern navies that look similar (as was the case with OmegaPyro's navy).

You mean this similar?

It becomes really obvious when the hulls lined up and also the fact that the screws are the exact same color/mostly in the same position.
I find it unfair how the only things similiar about those ships are the bottoms. and if i did it differently and showed in on the WIP thread, people would of sent me pictures of how the bottoms of ships actually looked. The bottoms of ships are universal.
and the aircraft character is hugely different along with the planes.

CubeJackal made a brilliant point and you reply by saying it was
"THIS similar" as if i had literally just copied. i had used modern ships as a reference as i work better with references. maybe i'll make mine more unique, but i can't be bothered at the moment.
and i'm apparently not allowed to use "the exact same colour" when grey is very hard to not replicate.
He's being stupid about the colours, yes, but listen.

People would praise you for originality if you went and made something cool and fancy. I think I showed this well enough with my ironclads, but hell, think of what you could do! You could do hovercraft, ice spraying water-crawlers that froze the water underfoot or something else imaginative. This is PICTURE WARS it doesn't matter if your stuff is silly, or goddamned breaks physics, as long as people enjoy seeing it in matches, then its a success. You could improve an awesome concept further with awesome sprites.

Thing is, those bottoms of ships were IDENTICAL, unless you had some weird mind powers or something, your story is unlikely. You can recover though, try something different! Your things could use giant industrial water-wheels and nuclear power cores like modern paddle-steamers, or maybe make the ships look a bit like roman war galleys for the lulz. Do whatever the hell you want, just keep it cool swag goddamned awesome.

Sorry if I seem like I'm taking sides here, or sound like a twat, they're both unintentional, I promise. :tophat:
problem is, i'm following the plan of my army, the Talon Expeditionary Force. i would love water paddle steamers and magical ice freezing ships but it just wouldn't work with it.

When I was talking about color as seen here,

I was referring to the screws, or in lay terms, propellers. It was less so about the colors and more about the location as compared to the hull shape. You have been caught so just admit it.
[Edit: Also, as long as you don't go and deny it again, I will stop bothering you about it.]
i can't be bothered to defend myself in this argument anymore and will try to do a more unique army. no promises, as the theme of the army i was making the fleet for is modern. i'll try my best :D

Thank you. Argument solved.
I just noticed, but all dem spoilers. It may seem organized, but it's really just a pain to click each one. And navigate sometimes... Perhaps have all the sections, but to divide them, you enlarge the text and make it bold. Not really army criticism, but it'll make the thread better :3:
I have simply replaced everything I had before. Unfortunately, my Laptop's hard drive died and I lost a lot of my data (Unit names, weapons info, etc.). I have most of my images, but it seems Imageshack is no longer free. What upload site do you guys use?
I use imgur generally, fast, easy, free and pictures haven't come down yet.
